I'm in the market for a 2001 1.8T Jetta. One seller claimed to have installed a "Neuspeed p-flo intake" to increase performance. What does this intake do? Does it void any warranties? Would it mean any difference in tune-ups and maintenance? Thanks.

P-flo intakes will make sure the car sucks up hot air in the summer and cold air in the winter. Thus robbing power and making it a pain to drive cold.
It means that the engine will suck hot air and lose power if the guy hasn't shielded the P-flow intake properly.
The P-flow is basically a cone shaped, open airfilter that replaces the factory air box.
