Some are conversant in Vanagon, provided it has a radiator cap. Texas Parts Guy

Regarding places for Vanagon discussion, there is an occasional message here, but here are a few more places to go:

Yahoo groups has discussion groups names Vanagon, Vanagon-Westfalia, Westfalia, and a few others specific to certain models, like Adventurewagens and diesels.

There is also the large Vanagon.com group, which has searchable archives, even if you haven't subscribed.
