I just bought an '82 Volksie diesel rabbit that sat in a field for nearly 10 years. The car is in astonishing condition given that fact.
However, there are multiple signs of damage to the wiring harness almost certainly caused by rodents.
The car is otherwise worth fixing although it's gonna take a lotta work.
Does anybody know if complete wiring harnesses, preferably OEM, are out there to be had? Preferably from a source other than a dealership.
I'll appreciate all leads.
