Nope! 'bout a 49 Ford or Merc.would be much closer, ah, the old flathead with their split valve guides and mushroomed base valves, fuel pumps that readily airlocked, motor mount water pumps that seized if you torqued the engine frequently, that stupid distributor mounted on the end of the camshaft, the good news was that you could buy "Denver Heads" that increased the compression and brought the engine up from 100hp to 110hp.and the engines lasted a good 40,000 miles between rebuilds. WEEE--HHOOO
