Can anyone tell me how to i.d. the year of a V-8 motor and to also tell whether it is a 259 or 289? Thanks Dexter

However keep in mind the only difference between a 259 and a 289 is the stroke, (crank and pistons) and however your engine may have left South Bend it could have been changed over the years.
