have a 1991 chevy 4 wheel drive 2500 long wheel base truck it will crank and it gets gas but will not run what could be wrong with it

no spark bad timing belt low compression stale gasoline

Most likely no spark - caused by bad coil, bad sensor, or other part, or wiring chewed by squirrels. Could also be timing chain gone.
And when you say "gets gas", where - and how verified??
