I have a Chevy Suburban ( 1993 ). Is it okay to leave the vehicle parked and shut off with the 4 wheel drive engaged?.

sure it is.... when you shut off your truck, the thermal actuator in the front axle cools and disengages the central axle disconnect. even if this didn't happen, it'd still be ok.

just don't start it up and gun the heck out of it until that little light on your floor has fully engaged or you'll hear some nice gears grinding..
