'91 Voyager Headlights stay on dimly when car is off

I have a problem where my daytime running headlights stay on when the car is switched off. Also, the high beam indicator on the dash is on dimly as well. I've tried isolating the circuit by pulling the low beam fuses, the headlight relay, and disconnecting the high beam switch on the steering column, but they are still on when I connect the battery. I have a wiring diagram in a Chiltons manual, but I suspect it isn't entirely correct.

Any help would be appreciated

Your Daytime Running Light module has failed -- this is the classic failure mode. To stop your battery dying, disconnect the DRL module. Not sure where it is on the Voyager; on the Acclaim and the Sundance of the same year it's inside the driver's side front fender, accessed by removing the LF wheel/tire and removing the plastic fenderwell liner.

Either buy an expensive and failure-prone replacement from the dealer, or install the module available here:

Thanks very much for this info. The part is under the wheelwell on my 1990 Spirit too. I found I could remove th epart from underneath without taking off the wheel etc. I expect the Voyager is in a similar spot as it is made on the same chassis I believe. Thanks Blackcloud14
