am quite new to this newsgroup malarky but hope it's ok to put a wanted ad on?
I'm after a very good condition (if such a thing still exists) panda 4x4 (not the new model). In the last 2 years i've bought 4 off ebay and 2 unseen from the autotrader website. Unfortunately all were described as either 'mint' or 'vgc' but it seems in all cases the sellers idea of 'mint' or 'vgc' sure as hell wasn't mine! They varied from major accident damged ones, blown head gaskets and generally knackered to obviously one with a fake mot as there was more rust than car (that ones still being investigated by trading standards & vosa!). They all ended up being scrapped, sold at huge losses, or used as evidence! so i've really given up on those two avenues.
im simply after a half decent one to lightly restore and have as a fun run about to relive my youth playing in the derbyshire hills!
if anyone overseas gets this then im even more interested if i can track down one of the last LHD ones with all the electrics & sunroofs.
