The article says the 08 will be built on GM's new Zeta platform, now under developement in Australia by GM's Holden subsidiary.

Don't you read well, son? Zeta chassis development has only been canceled for North America. Its still continuing in Europe and Oz. Its probably for the best because GM USA design and enginneer team sure does suck.
