I have almost finished restoring a matching numbers engine for a 1964 Impala convertible (not SS) without air equipped with a 283 V-8. The only item needed is the 2BBL Rochester carb. The one that was on the car at purchase was not the original carb it was a rochester 2BBL #7036112 which is for a 1966 appplication. I have done all the research using the book 1960-64 "Chevrolet by the numbers" to confirm all parts are original and correct. According to the book there are three carb for my engine which are: #7024100 2GV 283/195HP A/T, w/o A/C 1st Type #7024101 2GV 283/195HP S/T #7024106 2GV 283/195HP A/T, w/o A/C 2nd Type Which one of these carbs is the correct one for my engine? Here is some engine info to help out: Intake manifold: #3840905 GM 2 T Cast date: G2264
