Hole repair?

My Westco battery should be here today and I plan to install it and remove the tired Mazda battery currently

Unless they have changed something, the Westco battery has hookups for the stock vent tubes. I just pulled and re-installed mine a few weeks ago.

IIRC, the early model Westco batteries did not have the connection points and they were added so that the tubes could be left as if stock.

OK, thanks! I haven't seen the Westco yet and probably won't until after 5pm today based on UPS's previous schedules to my neighborhood.

I have a 2000 Miata, and I am pretty sure that my vent hose terminates at a place that is integrated with the right side rear reflector.

My 2005 Westco has the two spigots to attach vent tubes.

The battery came last night just as UPS said it would, it does have the spigots to that solves that problem. My new problem is an inability to install the new battery because I seem to have misplaced my round tuit but I'll do it as soon as I get a round tuit.....

Your, "round tuit." What the heck is that, asks the all thumbs mechanic>>LOL LOL??? When ever I have replaced the battery or added the cable for my charger/maintainer, all I needed was a ratchet/socket (Can't recall the size, maybe 10mm), and an open ended wrench.
