Audi 10/10

For the ALMS, last night / this morning was the end of the 2006 ALMS season at Laguna Seca and Audi managed to become the first team in history to sweep the entire series, what's more they did it with a TDi in it's first year and in the face of ever changing regulations to disadvantage the R10. (It had to be heavier than the rest of the field thanks to ballast regulations and to try to offset the fuel efficiency of the car the fuel fillers had flow restrictions imposed that weren't applied to the petrol based P1 cars.) The Coverage on motors TV was fantastic as it's taken from speed in the US and they have many more ads than we do and the yanks don't turn off the mics so we get commentary on how hot the coffee is or what flavour crisps they want.
