can a hydraulic clutch be adjusted on 240sx?

Mechanic i talked to said it is impossible. I don't trust him so i want to confirm this. I know they are self-adjusting so i assume my problem is leaking cylinders or air. I can only go about 10 kms before brand new clutch slips. He told me that you can't screw up clutch installation which i know is a lie. He is preparing me to get new cylinder.

Hi Robert,

I had a similar problem with a Nissan Stanza. The only possible adjustment is accomplished whith a push rod length extension. I dont Know for sure, but you can probably purchase a longer or shorter push rod at a nissan dealership. I manufactured my own pushrod. I went to ACE hardware and purchased a 1/4 inch diameter, brass rod, grinded it down to what I guessed was the right length. In my case it needed to be longer than the original nissan rod/part. It works just fine.
