Hello!
Have a friend with a 1986 Maxima that had the clutch replaced less than
10000 miles ago. The car wasn't used for awhile during the winter, and now it won't shift at all. Once the car is started, the clutch pedal is almost impossible to push to the floor. If it's not running, it pushes to the floor easily. He did say he had to add some brake fluid to the clutch reservoir. I'm wondering if it has something to do with air or water in the hydraulic system, or if it's an obvious mechanical problem like a pressure plate or release bearing. Anyone have a similar problem? Any ideas? Thanks!~ Doug
