Hi i hope sombody can help
I have a P reg rover 114, which up until now has been a good little runner. The problem is the car starts first time, unless its first thing in the morning, the car turns over but no ignition. When the car starts it sounds and runs smooth, until it starts to get hot, then it starts to splutter and shudder and eventually stalls and will not start for approximately 5 minutes. along with this there is a strong smell of petrol. i don't know much about cars, but could it be the automatic choke staying on and or not coming off first thing in the morning.
