I forgot to mention one problem,, the odo registers nearly 3% too high. If not fixed that would mean the car could be showing 36,000 miles with warranty expired and only having 35,000 miles. Is this a simple fix or require a gear change? tnx hank
Compared to what? And 3% is in the allowable margin of error. No fix at all. There isnt a problem
Why not double check with a GPS unit vice the road markers.
Why even care? A thousand miles is chicken shit in the grand scheme of things.
Actually I had a Taurus with a serious problem 85 miles out of warranty. I pointed out to them that the car had 150 miles on it when delivered because it had been traded from another dealer otherwise I might have been out of luck.
