1990 Toyota pickup intermitent starting problems

I am having intermitent starting problems. It starts fine for many days and then after being driven it will not start, but i can pop the clutch or wait awile and it will start. I have changed the starter 3 times in the last 8 weeks, so this doesn't seem to be the problem. I have power at the starter and all other electrical systems seem fine.

What are the symptoms when it won't start. Have you done any troubleshooting when it won't start? Did you examine the starters you removed to see if anything was wrong with them? Were these new or rebuilt starters? I have some ideas on what to look for as a problem cause on my page:

Sounds like a worn ignition switch. When it won't start, try checking the voltage at the starter solenoid, likely its low enough to prevent the solenoid pulling in and operating the starter:
