i have a 93 gmc seirra 1500 5.7 4x4 when i turn on the air condition ,the fan and the ac light comes on. the clutch on the compresser won't engage. i tried adding freon in the low pressure side while the truck was running and the ac in the on postion,it wouldnt take the freon, and the clutch woulnt engage.
any ideas ? thanks
Bypass the low-pressure switch and check if the compressor runs.
by passed and got a shock
ROFL.... what the hell!!!!!!? Pull the connector off the low-pressure switch and insert a jumper wire into both contacts of the connector. Use a piece of insulated wire that is only stripped back at each end.
