Does anyone know if one can get a build sheet or a sheet that shows all of the installed options, towing capacities etc. like the dealer window sticker? I have a 1999 K1500 that I would like to see what all of the installed options are listed as.
Thanks

Search for an "RPO code decoder" then write down all the letters/numbers from the sticker in the glove box nd look them up.

What if your RPO sticker was removed for some reason can you order a new one using the serial number at a dealership?

If you poast the last eight of your vin I could get you a v.i.s. (i work at a dealer ship). I'm new at this news group thing but i think I could poast the v.i.s.

Well it's not working today, but I can see you have a open recall 00-0-44, see your local dealer for the repair. But the tray is ugly ask you service guy what it looks like. check back soon, I'll try the build codes later. - Randy

Randy what do you mean by the "tray is ugly"? I looked up recalls for this truck and came up with seat belt recall.
Thanks Brian

I don't know about any seat belt recall but the one open on your truck "FMVSS NECK EXTENSION REQUIREMENTS" requires a tray to be installed (I think it's been a while since i've done one) on the pass side dash area where there is a depression (top of dash) and to me it looks ugly. Anyway about your vin # GM is only giving me the build codes not explnations that you could understand. I do see extra cab, tinted glass, third door, locking diff, z71.... some options off the top of my head. It's strange to see the codes but no listings on this report. I was bussy at work today i'll check further when i have time, check back - randy
