This is a weird new problem. While highway driving, the cruise control will work fine for a few minutes, but then shut off. The light on the dashboard switch stays on. By cycling the dashboard switchoff and then back on, it will work again, but then shut off again after a few minutes. Do these symptoms ring any bells with the knowledgeable people who read this?

Repost/bump
After a week long road trip I discovered some things. This cutting out thing happens more often/quicker when the car is hot - like during a sunny day, or after the car has been running for a long time. At night it lasts a lot longer. Does this yield any ideas from anyone?
did u ever find a fix? im having the same issue
