I can't adjust the side mirrors. They just won't move up or down or sideways. The little JOY stick is not doing its job.
Is there a fuse or something?

Yes, there is a fuse. Look in thge owners book to see what fuse it is. The fuses are located under the semicircular panel at the extreme left of the console (accessible only with the driver's door open). At least that is where they are on a '98 A6.
