aftermarket brakes and anti-lock.

Anyone know if adding after market brakes (e.g. Brembo etc) has any effect on the anti-lock/dsc/traction control system?

thx.

If it does, it is so small an effect you will most likely never know itl. Modern ABS/traction systems read wheel sensor data in real time and therefore react to the conditions as they change. The system is fast enough to react to the greater stopping power in less than ideal conditions. If not, changing brake pads would create problems. You will however possibly see more activation of the ABS due to you possibly trying to outbrake the tire's traction threshold...

As a practical matter, no.

It depends on what the meaning of "any" is.
