misses a lot when cold but when hot misses only after 4 thousand revs coputer check verifies nothing wrong with electronics pls help

Check the carb, timing, valve clearances, etc.
Alternatively, you could provide more details on which 318 you actually have because the crystal ball isn't working today.
Obviously not that important then, as you haven't replied.
I will take a guess and say it's a 318 with an M40 engine.
Now have a guess at what's wrong with it.........
Misfires can be caused by many different things.
IF, it was a 318i with an M40 engine, the next question would have been does the engine sound rattly.
sorry gino took so long its a v reg 318i its not ratling when hot keep light foot and goes perfectly only when u put foot down then hesitates to say i dont want to go then slow on the foot ok pick up to 90mph
