the brake lights on my 1988 325is don't work i have checked some fuse and none were blown but i dont know how to check the bigger fuses. any ideas ????

As a thought have you checked the switch on the brake pedal, that turns on the brake lights....

Usually up under the dash with a couple of wires from it, with a button being pushed by the shaft of the brake pedal....

If you unplug the wire from it and short the 2 pins together on the wire, the brake lights should come on.

If they do then your switch is kaput.

Dodgy.
