Im new here and maybe this subject has been brought up before but would love some advice on curing a radio reception problem here in the uk.
I have a 2001 320 coupe which i recently bought, the orginal radio was the business cd/radio which worked fine on all wavelengths. I had a new kenwood head unit fitted and ever since reception on fm is ok but mw and lw are awful. I have spoken to many different people who say is probably is the amp or the attenna ? I have fully checked the connections and they are fine. Most main specialists have told me to go to the main bmw dealer but im reluctant as they charge over a 100 pounds a hour and could have a massive bill without even curing the problem! Any help on this would be very gratefuly recieved.
