1987 C30 Radio Problem

I think the antenna has a poor connection to the radio or is shorted somewhere. FM often works fine with little or no or a piece of dangling wire used as an antenna.

Actually, I off my rear and actually looked. There are two antennas. Somebody must have had a CB or something, and the antenna was on the driver's side. With just a little looking I found a mount on the passenger's side with no antenna. I am hoping if I put an antenna on that mount, it should work. So, it was a poor connection - if you consider no connection a poor connection.
