89 5.7 (K) roller cam question

HDS,why would you want to do this?Is your current cam worn out? Also regarding those roller tip rockers,I've seen the ads-"lower oil temp.,more power,less friction!"There may be some slight advantage on a race motor at 6000+ RPM but if yours is a street driven truck forget it,your $400 could be better spent. I pulled the valve cover on my wifes car a couple years ago after 29 years and 210,000 hard miles(frequent high-speed runs across the Mojave desert) and the rockers showed minimal wear,so where's all this friction and heat to be avoided.Course I changed her oil every 3000.
