98 S10 speedometer

A bunch of the 2004 Tahoe's,Surburban's, and Silverado's are having problems including my 04 3500. They don't just quit alltogether they just show things like running 120 mph when parked and when your running any other speed it registers anywhere from -0 to 120 mph... it only cost $80 to recalabrate unless it just goes out it's around 2-3 hundred... not sure about the 98's..

OK guess What RATS chewed the insulation from the wire harness by the computer , causing the speedometer head to short out It was not GM fault (for a change) I will now install a package of rat poison by the computer wiring...
