For some reason, the door on my silverado is incorrectly indicating that it is ajar, even when it is completely closed and locked.
There are a few annoyances. Like the inside dome light stays on. Also, when you turn the key off, everything shuts off, as opposed to staying on for 20 minutes.
At or around the same time I had temporarily lost my keys and had to have the truck opened with wedges inserted above the window of the driver's side door. I don't know if this was the cause or if it was just coincidental.
Any ideas?
