Greetings: Is there any web sites devoted to gas mileage of various = trucks? I am going to buy a 2004 Chevy 2500 and would like to find out = about gas mileage of available engines for this truck. Thanks for any = help in the matter. Jim T

If that is what you are buying, regardless of the engine, you are not going to get good mileage.

Buy the engine that does the job you need.
