Has anyone out there ever had to vave the hingpins and bushings replaced on the driver side door of their Blazers?
Sounds kind of common, the service guy knew what the problem was as soon as I opened my mouth.

Yep, they sell the pins and the bushings. Very common on the GM PUs. I got mine at Pep Boys a while back. Its in the "HELP" brand. Or you can get them at the dealer. They are cheap either way. There are different sizes so make sure you get the right ones.
I had both doors done on my 99 Blazer. The dealer said there was special tool to deal with the springs. Is that true? Mike
