Rhino Liner

Is this the best liner out there? Where can I get it done cheaply? I am willing to go to any place in FL, GA, TN, SC, NC, VA, WV, PA. (I travel a lot)

I'm pretty sure you won't have to travel too far.

to get a list ofdealers in your area. I know there are two close to me (in Nashville). Don't know if it's the best, but some seem very pleased by it.

Before you commit to Rhino, also look at Line-X. I got Line-X after looking at both products. Line-X has a more uniform appearance, is also non-skid but a harder, more abrasion resistant surface.

Both are good, and it boils down to personal preference.

I was going to tell you exactly what Ray said. I have had two trucks with Line-X, and they both stood the test of time, and abuse. Rhino is not as uniform, is uneven, and doesn't grip as well. It's crap in my opinion.

I've had a Rhino liner in the bed of my truck for 3 years now and its great. I hear Line-X is also good. It all depends on your needs. If you are a contractor and are always throwing all kinds of shit in the back you would want Line-X. The reason being that Rhino liner is softer and you could gouge the liner. But, if you don't do that like myself, Rhino is what you want. Rhino actually grips better to stuff in the bed because it is a softer compound, while Line-X is a bit harder. Therefore things won't slide as much then if it was in a Line-X bed. And I don't know what you guys are talking about when you say Rhino is sprayed unevenly. The guy would did mine did a awesome job and it didn't come out uneven at all.

Maybe the local Rhino dealer sucks then. All the Rhino jobs I've seen around here have really bad overspray, and where it goes over the top of the bed walls, it just sort of fades off into speckles instead of like LineX using tape and cutting it off evenly.

I had a 2000 Silverado that I had Line-X installed and that sorry installer also did some over spray. That was the last time I ever had the crap installed. I use bed-rug now.

Before I got the Line-X done, I researched several franchised installers both for price and quality. When I saw a nice liner, I asked the truck owner who did the job.

In my checking things out, I came across one place only did it on Saturdays, and another (the one I decided to go to) did it 6 days a week, nothing else. I decided price was secondary to quality, and the prices were not that much different. As it turned out, the one I went to was in Bow, New Hampshire and there is no sales tax there.
