Tahoe Transmission

Feb 06, 2005 3 Replies

I have a 2004 Tahoe and the transmission has a low whine constantly, but that is much more noticeable at lower speeds when wind noise is lower. The transmission also shudders when shifting from 1st to 2nd and is otherwise jerky. Is this typical behavior in a Tahoe?

Thanks...

Steve

Did you think about this problem before you typed it? If it was typical, they would never be able to sell a Tahoe. Go on down to your dealer and test drive about 10 other Tahoe's. You'll be able to tell what's typical.

I don't have that in my '04 Tahoe.

Take it to the dealer and have them check it and fix it. It's still under warranty.
