Timing Chevy 1990 S-10 PU 2.5 liter standard tranny

I need advice timing my S-10. I can time a carbed engine but, I need to know how to disconnect the timing advance on a fuel injected engine. Also, do I need a tach attachment? If so, how do I use it (lol)? What degree advance and at what rpm. And so on----- Thanks, abqmaxey

The wire is located inside of the cab, passenger side behind the glove box, pull the carpet down slightly and you will see it looping out of the harness. Timing set at idle Check engine light will be on when you start the engine with the wire disconnected. Follow the timing specs on the label under the hood on the fan shroud

Whitelightning

( SMALL BROWN WIRE ) Below the Glovebox, is located inside of the cab, passenger side behind the glove
