I have a 98 Silverado 1/2 ton, I was checking my u joints this morning and while I was spinning the drive shaft by hand I could here a rubbing sound coming from the tail end of the transmission, I thought it might be the center bearing but I am pretty sure it is coming from the transmission, sort of sounds like metal on metal. I don't hear it when I am driving. Any information would sure help. Thank you... Ed
