My daughter let her windshield wiper scratch her windshield with out telling me to replace. This is her 99 Bug. Not real deep but you can barley feel in.
How do you fix? What do your buff with?\ Thanks Dave

I'd let someone with experience with this perform the task. A national company like Safelite or Harmon Glass will repair windshields for about $40. Have them take a look at it and let you know how a repair would look. It might not be advisable if it's in the drivers line of sight.
A repair usually consists of creating negative pressure (suction) around the chip/crack and allowing an epoxy to be pulled into the crevice. I'm not sure this would work with very small scratches. Ask the experts.
