I posted the other day about the failed steering rack on my '03 Cruiser, with
10K miles. Took it in, and expected to get the car back the next day. Today they told me that the part is back ordered-- for about a week or MORE! The dealer said they have replaced about 10 of these in the last 2 weeks, and apparently a lot of other dealers are too, which accounts for the backordered part. If you have this type of car, you might want to check your steering fluid and if it's low, get the rack checked out!! BTW-- my dealer put me in a new loaner car, which I greatly appreciate.
