have a 03 PT Cruiser/2.4 turbo. Headlights, interior lights, and dash lights all flicker. Took to local dealer, replaced generator, did not fix. Replaced pcm, did not fix. dealer service tech said this is nomal condition and that several pt's on lot did the same. I have replaced battery, previous battery was leaking, and cleaned cables. Car has
63,000+ miles. Any suggestions?
The dealer needs to see if there is an update for the PCM. If they just replaced the PCM with the same controller and did not update to the newest software your problem may still be there. The PCM controls generator output.

Why would there be acid all over a new battery Dirtbag? Is this the reason why they fired your ass from the dealer? damn I hope you don't work on all vehicles this way.

The the next time you sell a cust a battery maybe you should do that so they dont come back on you all the time
