'99 T&C Driver's side electric seat...

Stopped working. Anyone know what this could be? Does each seat have its own fuse?

Any help advice/appreciated.

Did all functions of the seat stop working? I ask this because my '96 T&C has two switches - one for the seat back and one for the seat bottom. If nothing works it may be your that your main connection at the back of the seat (underside) could have disconnected. If the passenger seat still operates it is not the fuse as both seats use the same 40amp fuse (#26 in power distribution center) . If it turns out to be the motors email me privately as I may have a solution for you.

Hi RP, Thanks for your response. Both functions on the driver's seat have stopped working. I'll take a look under the seat to see if I can see where a connection is disconnected. Can you give me more specific information on what I'm going to be looking for?

At the rear of the seat, in the middle underneath, you will find the connector (should be attached to the seat bottom) where the plug at the end of the wiring coming out of the carpet connects. They lock together to prevent them from separating but that doesn't mean they can't. If they are securely connected something else is responsible for the loss of power as I think it highly unlikely that both functions would stop working at the same time. I am assuming the functions on the passenger seat still work. By '99 the wiring could have changed so that each seat has its own fuse so it would be best to check your owners manual. I don't know what else to tell you. Good luck!

Thanks RP. I'll check it out today. Hopefully it's only become disconnected. And yes, the passenger seat still works fine.
