car sputtering and cutting out at 2500 rpm

Please better describe "transmission problems" and "cuts out" ... I myself have no idea what you are experiencing from your description. Also please provide the engine size, mileage, and maintenance history too if you want useful responses.

OK so i took it and got the fault codes p0731,gear 1 ratio incorrect,, p1776 solenoid valve stuck in l/r mil code 071ENHANCED, and p0562 system voltage low and the last one isp0841 trans fluid press sensor/switch A ckt range/perf thanks any help you can give

With regard to not getting fuel and given the mileage, has the fuel pump ever been replaced? Also not sure if that year has a replaceable fuel filter or not, but that also would be a possibility in my mind.

The circumstances/situation you describe where you accelerate while already at high speed would call for a high volume of fuel and the symptoms you describe would seem to indict to a delivery problem.

This could be related to the trans error codes, but also could be independent too.

Well.... you might try checking out the systems that the fault codes are telling you are having troubles. From your question, I'll bet the first thing you need to do is to buy a factory (not Haynes, not Chilton's, factory) service manual.
