Fuse blowing on 2000 Chrysler Cirrus when cold

When it gets below freezing, the #8 fuse under the hood will blow when attempting to start the engine. This fuse services the fuel pump, starter solenoid, and ignition.

Is it possible that the solenoid is drawing more current when cold, and causes the overload?

Thanks,

KM

Yes, common problem.

Turns out that the starter solenoid was the problem. It was drawing too much current.
