I have seen the posts about the speculation that GM is looking at purchasing Chrysler.
What assets does Chrysler have that would interest GM ? Other than Jeep, they are cover the same product categories.

Jeep is the automotive Ring of the Nibelung. The Ring supposedly conferred great powers on it's owner, but it's owner always ended up dying a horrible death. Jeep has been owned by Willy's, Kaiser, AMC, Chrysler, and now Daimler, do you start to see a pattern here?
