There are so many different grades and varieties of engine oil out there what engine oil is recommended for a picasso 1.8 petrol? Totally confused.

What does the manual say? At a guess I would say 10W40. Halfords have a useful chart on the shelves where they keep their oils.
It must be semi-synthetic.
