Apologies if this looks like a thinly disguised advert - it's not intended too, honest! I could do with some advice as to the best way to sell a Range Rover V8 engine. I'd hoped to list it on Ebay with the words "can be heard running", but it can't anymore as the starter motor has died. It worked long enough to drive on and off the trailer, but that's it. Also, the water pump leaks like a sieve and the distributor has no points as I've just sold its Lumenition kit. In that state, I can't see it going for more than 50 quid, so wondered if I'd be better off stripping it and selling the heads, etc., seperately. What do you reckon?
It's a 1980 3.5 Stromberg carb version that looks (and sounded) healthy.
