Bump stop rubber

Hi

I am looking for rubber bump stops for my 1948 Morris 8 E. they go between the front leaf springs and the chassis.

I seem to remember that Landrover bumpstops might work, presumably early models, they aswell, if i remember right also fit onto upright Fords....?

Landrover bump stops are readily available. Cost about £3 each. They're about 3" high, from memory, and locate onto the chassis with lugs on the side, bolting onto lugs on the chassis, either side of the chassis rail.

If you want some definite measurements to see if it's worth getting some, I can take a ruler to some spares I've got in the garage.

Indeed. I've found the Land Rover 'series' style bump stop rubbers to be invaluable as a 'universal' bump stop in several custom applications. At about 3 quid a time they come in very handy. LR and RR engine mounts are also very affordable and suitable for many applications.
