Hi Ken, It's an auto. Sorry about the web page info not being readable. I think I've fixed it, with the 'thumb-nail' image links working too. Regards Dave

Yep - works fine now. It was the frames you'd used.

Nice car, but I'm after one in the horrible purple colour.

In news:wp1Fc.619$P23.492@newsfe5-win, J decided to enlighten our sheltered souls with a rant as follows

I used to have a Java green RS2000 Escort.. loved that colour..

That horrible purple colour is a real love it or hate it shade. It's called Vermillion and you can get GT6s, TR6s, Dolomites and Stags in it - have you tried Java green - that's another fine period colour. For a real 70's tastic colour try the lovely Russet Brown - or as it's more commonly know Triumph Turd Brown :-)

The purple colour is Magenta. Vermillion is an orangey red colour. Russet is used on all leyalnd cars of the post 75 period, as is Vermillion but Magenta is Triumph only. Jave Green is also generic Leyland...Ford did something similar but I cant remember its name...

Of course you're right Jonners - Magenta is the purple one! Sorry for any confusion, another brain/keyboard disconnection
