Not mine - but stolen from a road near mine and featured in my local paper...
Stolen August 29th, less than 30 minutes after being parked (and locked) on a driveway, a white Morris Minor convertible with a red hood. Registration WBK 14. Very tidy - has been in rallies and shows during the last 4 years.
If you see it being touted around, Bath Police Station (01225 842531) would like to know.

And on a more serious note, nobody finds having a car nicked something to laugh at. I had my car stolen some years ago, so I know from personal experience how it feels. Which is why I try to help out anybody in the same position by letting a wider audience know what to look out for.

Hmm. Flat cap and driving gloves cars for the more mature gentleman, eh? Still, these nice big engines mean you don't have to be too precise with those fiddly gear changes...

I had a Minor for a bit. I was great fun, and I'd have one again. Ditto for a Beetle. E-types are just vulgar. Citroens are loony!

I am always amazed at how somebody attacks another's interest in cars just because they do not like them. Everything has its place and if we all like the same thing it would be very boring. Part of our motoring heritage being preserved is good whether it is more common or more exclusive. I personally would not like to own a Triumph TR6 or an Austin Healey 3 litre, but I would not rubbish your choice of car, and may well admire the car because somebody has taken the time and care to preserve it, and you should be more accepting of others choices. I am sure the owner of the Minor stolen is very distressed and enjoyed owning that car and it's merits. cheers Ian
