O did indeed use the Rover gasket and dowels...at 38 quid the dearest head gasket I ever bought! Ah the water pump...could that let oil and water mix? Jon

I'm no expert on these cars (or even an amateur), but I do remember shoring up a friend's Herald chassis with bolted on angle iron about 35 years ago. It looked a bit like a bedstead afterwards....

Finding Ford 302 V8 heads in the UK?
Anyone got ant idea where I might be able to find a decent set of heads for my Ford 302? Plenty about in the US but haven't found many places in the UK. Cheers, Dan
