you need a 10mm open ended wrench to get the panel off, a torx bit of the correct size for the screws inside the fender, a small wrench that fits the battery posts, and a socket wrench with an extension to get to the battery tiedown bolt on the lower rear of the battery.

If you need to buy a 10mm open-end wrench, pick the thinnest one available. Or, buy the least expensive and have it ground of filed down to slide between the bottom of the panel and the rail.
